On the International Day of Democracy, a scientific panel titled "Media and Democracy: A Balance Between Freedom and Responsibility" was held.

The event, attended by the Dean of the Institute, media experts, and several notable academic figures, focused on discussing and shedding light on the role of the media in the democratic process and its impact on society.

Moderated by Mr. Rawezh Kamaran, an instructor at the Digital Media and Marketing Department, the panel was comprised of three main sessions:

First Session: Dr. Tara Omar Mohammed (Expert in Political Systems)

In her session, Dr. Tara highlighted the conditions required for a successful democracy and the challenges that arise in the phase of emerging democracies.

Second Session: Abubakir Karwani (Writer and Politician)
